SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 42
(By Senators Mitchell, McCabe, Sprouse, Rowe, Unger, Caldwell,
Ross, Redd, Burnette, Minear and Minard)
Congratulating the Clendenin Little League girls' softball team on
winning the state 2000 9--10 year old division championship.
Whereas, The Clendenin Little League girls' softball team had
an outstanding 2000 season which earned it the opportunity to
participate in the state championship playoffs; and
Whereas, The Clendenin Little League Softball team won the
state 2000 9--10 year old division championship for the third
consecutive season; and
Whereas, The outstanding leadership of Coach Jim Adkins and
Manager Jeff Rollyson contributed to this championship win; and
Whereas, The outstanding team spirit and athletic ability of
each player, including Paige Adkins, Brittany Barnhouse, Kara Bird,
Serena Frye, Alysia Hively, Mary Kebler, Jessica Myers, Jamanda
Rollyson, Lindsey Shafer, Samantha Sloan, Lynsey Taylor and
Alexandra White, helped to bring the state 2000 9--10 year old
state championship win to Clendenin for the third consecutive year;
therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the Senate hereby congratulates the Clendenin Little League girls' softball team on winning the state 2000 9--10 year
old division championship; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to forward
a copy of this resolution to the coaches and to each team player of
the Clendenin Little League girls' softball team.
